Mass production taught the world to accept peeling “vegan leather”, loose threads and landfill lifespans. We went the other way. We source full-grain hides from Gold-rated tanneries, 21oz Japanese selvedge, and British Millerain waxed canvas — then we cut everything in-house.

Top 3% of hides, vegetable-tanned 6-9 months. Develops rich patina instead of peeling. 2.2mm thick, burnished edges.
Saddle stitch by hand
Two needles, one waxed linen thread, 7 SPI. If one stitch breaks, the rest holds. Machine lock-stitch can’t do that.
Solid brass & copper
YKK Excella zippers, solid copper rivets, brass buckles cast in USA. No plated zinc that snaps in winter.
21oz Japanese selvedge
Kaihara mills, rope-dyed indigo, chain-stitched hems. Fades to your life — whiskers, honeycombs, stories.
Storm-proof canvas
18oz waxed canvas rewaxable for decades. Water beads, scratches heal with a hairdryer.
